Section Title: For Buyers
Questions and Answers:
Question 1: Are there any costs to join AuctionsBulk? Answer 1: No.
Question 2: Am I responsible for the shipping costs of any lots that I win? Answer 2: Yes.
Question 3: What are the guarantees with any lots that I purchase? Answer 3: Just as in any auction, there are no guarantees beyond the statements that the seller has provided in the description of his listings.
Question 4: Is there an inspection period after I purchase an auction lot? Answer 4: The buyer will receive a three-day inspection period starting from the day that they receive the merchandise lot. Within that three-day inspection period, the buyer must file a dispute if the merchandise lot is not what was advertised in the seller’s listing. If three business days pass, and no dispute is filed after receiving the merchandise, then it is assumed that the buyer has accepted and approved the merchandise lot.
Question 5: If a buyer needs to file a dispute, how does that process work? Answer 5: For a dispute, a buyer would need to log into their account, and click the dispute button in regard to the auction lot that they purchased. They would need to send in pictures and provide an explanation as to what their dispute is, and why the merchandise does not match up with the auction listing or what the damage is. After that takes place, the seller would then be able to respond to the dispute. Once that all takes place, then an administrator at AuctionsBulk would resolve the dispute. Keep in mind that any disputes at AuctionsBulk should be very rare.
Question 6: Are there any commissions that the buyers pay on the purchase of any of the auction lots? Answer 6: No, the buyers do not pay any commissions on the purchase of auction lots.
Question 7: What forms of payment does AuctionsBulk accept? Answer 7: AuctionsBulk accepts all major credit cards, PayPal, bank wires, and ACH transfers.
Question 8: What about returns? Are there any returns possible with AuctionsBulk merchandise lots? Answer 8: Returns are very rare and almost non-existent at AuctionsBulk, as well as most auctions. For a return to happen, a buyer would need to send in pictures and evidence that what they received was not the same merchandise that was advertised in the auction lot.
Section Title: For Sellers
Questions and Answers:
Question 1: Are there any listing fees to list auction lots? Answer 1: There are no listing fees.
Question 2: Are there any commissions charged to sellers? Answer 2: Yes, there are seller fees, as stated in the seller terms and conditions.
Question 3: After selling an auction lot, when does the seller get paid? Answer 3: After the buyer pays for the auction lot, those funds are held in escrow until the buyer receives the merchandise. The buyer then has three business days to inspect the merchandise. After that, the funds will be released from escrow, and the seller will be paid (unless the buyer has filed a dispute).
Question 4: What happens if I have merchandise that I want to sell, but it is not part of one of the existing category sections? Answer 4: In that case, please send an email to info@auctionsbulk.com. Explain what you want to sell, and we will consider opening a new category section for your items.
Question 5: Who pays for the shipping? Answer 5: The buyer pays for the shipping costs, but the seller is responsible for providing accurate shipping details, such as weights and dimensions. The seller is also responsible for loading the buyer’s truck when arriving or applying shipping labels to the packages.
